The 15-th anniversary of the existence of the St. Tereza rehabilitation home in Vinohradovo

The St. Tereza rehabilitation home in Vinohradovo was founded in 1998 by the local roman-catholic parish. This home tries to help those families where there are children with mental and physical disorders. The institute employs just eight people: head of the home, an accountant, a masseur, a physiotherapist, a nurse, a bus driver, a maintenance and a night watchman. Their wages can be paid thanks to donations...

The awards of the fund for the Hungarian Culture in Transcarpathia were handed over for the first time on the 7-th of December

The ceremony took place at the Ferenc Rakoczi secondary school of Mukachevo. The fund was created in 2012 by Gyula Kiss, a teacher born in Transcarpathia, within the framework of the Franciscan Mission Foundation for Transcarpathia. The aim of the fund consists in supporting the tuition of the Hungarian folk-dancing and the promotion of runic writing in Transcapathian Hungarian schools; awarding Transcarpathian teachers who had great achievements in teaching Hungarian language, literature and history...
